The Team

Jordan G., Co-founder · Engineering & Operations

I'm the guy who builds and maintains everything you click on this site. Lived in Houston for six years, now based in Dallas, close enough to know the market, far enough to keep my head down and ship.

Josh and I started HFA because local investors needed a focused Houston workflow that treated source quality seriously. We wanted a small product that understood the market, preserved source evidence, and made the records practical to work.

Most days I'm deep in the code making sure the data lands clean, the maps don't lag, and the imports don't drop a row. The rest of the time I'm answering customer emails, if you've ever written to support and gotten a fast, slightly nerdy response, that was me.

Off the clock: married, Patriots fan (please don't hold it against me, this is Texas), and probably playing a video game I don't have time for.

Josh W., Co-founder · Real Estate & Research

I'm Josh, the real estate half of HFA. I help shape the local-source workflow and the fields investors need to research, prioritize, and contact Greater Houston opportunities.

Houston is the market I know. Our workflow uses official public sources, automated import and normalization where appropriate, retained source evidence, and human review for quality and exceptions.

What We Do

Official-source workflow. HFA collects county, tax, and municipal records through a mix of direct review and automated import, parsing, and normalization. We retain source facts and review quality before publishing records.

Greater Houston focus. We prioritize the counties and local datasets our members work, with source-specific coverage and cadence documented publicly.

Small team, real humans. When you email support, one of us answers. When you find a bug, we fix it the same week. When you ask for a feature, we actually consider it.
